Fredrika Syren is the critically acclaimed author of A Practical Guide to Zero Waste for Families and has been an environmental writer for over 20 years as well as the founder and writer of Zerowastefamily.com. She is originally from Sweden and has a degree in journalism and broadcast media. She has worked in both print, radio, and TV media as a writer, reporter, and editor. She is an environmental activist along with her husband James and their 3 children. She has been featured in the documentary “Zero Time to Waste” and Ava DuVernay’s CBS TV show "Home Sweet Home."
