Fredrika Syren is the critically acclaimed author of A Practical Guide to Zero Waste for Families and has been an environmental writer for over 20 years as well as the founder and writer of Zerowastefamily.com. She is originally from Sweden and has a degree in journalism and broadcast media. She has worked in both print, radio, and TV media as a writer, reporter, and editor. She is an environmental activist and raising her 3 children. She has been featured in the documentary “Zero Time to Waste” and Ava DuVernay’s CBS TV show "Home Sweet Home.
Maddie Mackey
Maddie Mackey's marketing career started with selling Girl Scout Cookies and has since turned into an impactful brand, the development of a media agency in San Diego, and an accomplished career in team building and collaboration. Through Media On The Rise and other strategic partnerships Maddie has assisted all types of businesses including but not limited to authors, attorneys, coaches/facilitators, entrepreneurs, print marketing, products, and more.
